"Crown Range Road I" Print
In November, my husband and I had the privilege of traveling to New Zealand. I have dreamed about going to New Zealand for most of my life, and the beauty and drama of the country did not disappoint. I’m not sure that I can adequately impress upon you the magnitude of this mountain range or just how teeny tiny I felt while driving through it. I know these are not the biggest mountains in the world, but something about the cut of this road through the mountains just completely overwhelmed me. I couldn’t stop noticing the different colors all around me, and I just kept thinking, “wow, I really cannot wait to try and paint this.” This painting is my first go at it. I may do more, because when something is really really impressed upon you, you just can’t help but spend more time with it.
