Reflections #9: Hope
8” x 10” original watercolor painting
This painting was born out of hope. With so many things feeling hopeless in the world, I am trying to practice finding smaller things that give me hope. While I do have a greater, ultimate sense of hope, sometimes we have to practice finding and holding on to smaller things. It feels a little strange to carry on with “business as usual” when so many people are in the depths of the deepest trauma, but my hope is that this painting can be a little bit of hope that we can hold on to as we keep moving forward.
