Reflections #13: Awakening

The process of painting this series awakened something inside of me. I was able to connect with my art in a way I never had and found myself connecting with God differently through that experience as well. This series has been a gradual awakening for me, so it feels appropriate that this final painting in this series be titled “Awakening”. While I may paint more paintings like this in the future, this painting puts a capstone on this particular series. It feels right that this be the last one for now.
